A mobile edition of Final Fantasy VII is now available for iOS devices from the App Store priced £11.99, Square Enix has announced.

Since its release in 1997 for the PlayStation the game has gone on to sell more than 11 million copies worldwide across a range of formats, and is now available on mobile devices for the first time.

The mobile edition also makes an effort to allow more casual players to enjoy the epic story of Cloud and co., with the ability to not only turn off world and area map encounters, but to auto-max your character stats, removing the need to grind – which we think is a great idea.
