Square Enix has announced the February 8 release date for Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II in the UK and across all PAL territories.
Both titles have been completely re-mastered exclusively for PSP, offering fans the definitive versions of the epic titles that got the hugely popular RPG series started.
Each game will feature redrawn graphics and character art, enhanced sound, all-new dungeons, full widescreen support and a new camera view offering a different perspective on the action.
“Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II represent the foundations of the Square Enix success story. They are the first two imaginative steps in the long and distinguished history of the Final Fantasy franchise,” said John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix. “With these beautiful new versions, fans can now experience the origins of Final Fantasy wherever they go.”
