Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIII has sold 5.5 million units worldwide as of March 31, 2010 – the sales are evenly spread across Japan, North America and Europe.
Other million sellers during the publisher’s fiscal year included Dragon Quest IX (4.26 million units in Japan only), Batman: Arkham Asylum (3.24 million units), Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (1.49 million) and Dragon Quest VI (1.29 million).
Just Cause 2 managed 0.92 million during the year, but including sales up until the end of April 2010 had sold 1.19 million units.
