EA has announced FIFA Street at its gamescom 2011 press conference this afternoon. The new game appears to be a reboot for the series, dropping the numbers of the previous games. EA revealed that the game is the first in the series to be developed by the EA Sports Football group and features twice as many moves as seen in the latest FIFA football sim.
The game will support EA’s Football Club service, which has already been announced for FIFA 12, and will be a bonus title in EA Sports’ Season Ticket premium membership – giving players access to the game three days before it goes on sale.
FIFA Street is due for release early in 2012.
