FIFA players are claiming it is ‘impossible’ to finish the Ferland Mendy SBC – because the parameters no longer make sense.

That’s because the winter wildcard segment requires you have 3 wildcards – but Anthony Martial and Neymar, which both cost more than 250,000 FUT coins, are the only ones currently available.

The Winter Wildcards are just part of a long list of requirements for FIFA players to have if they’re to unlock the Real Madrid ace. These include but are not limited to, 4 FUT Birthday Cards, 4 Future Stars and 6 Team of the Season cards – making up a total of 17 squads.

Understandably, the community on Reddit is not happy about it. One gamer wrote: ” Glad it was the first of the big sbcs I did. I always did the special card ones first, out of fear they became extinct. Was tough enough sniping them when they were in packs.”

Another added: “I was actually having some fun the last couple of weeks and again started to like fifa. This is completely destroyed it again.”

With a few more days left to complete the SBC, it’s unsure if EA will be able to fix the problem, to allow FIFA fans to get their hands on the 96-rated midfielder.

The Mendy SBC has caused quite a lot of controversy over the past month – over how difficult it was. High-profile FUT influencer, FUT Sheriff, is among what seems to be hundreds of FIFA players who have expressed frustration about the SBC’s requirements.

Elsewhere in FIFA, EA is gearing up for the launch of FIFA 23 next month with a Pre Season event.

Despite the FIFA 22 Pre-Season being initially delayed, Pre Season kicked off on August 18 – and will run for the next few weeks up until FIFA 23’s launch on September 30.

Week 2 of Pre Season will likely drop at 6 PM BST / 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET – and there are already predictions coming in about what sort of rewards well see.
