FIFA 14’s box art has been posted on the official Facebook page of Xbox UK, revealing the world’s best footballer – Lionel Messi – as the cover star.
The artwork is almost certainly a placeholder for the real deal, which in FIFAs past sees Messi joined by footballers targeted at local markets. The UK version of FIFA 13 featured Messi sandwiched between Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Man City and England number one Joe Hart.
FIFA 14 will be released this autumn for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Additional platforms will be announced at a later date.
