FIFA 13 is set to record a historic opening and become the biggest sports video game launch ever, EA Sports has said.
More than one million pre-orders have been made worldwide and over 4.6 million fans in 123 countries have played the demo. This represents a 42 per cent increase year-over-year in demo users worldwide.
According to Brandwatch, FIFA Soccer 13 was mentioned every 1.3 seconds on Twitter, YouTube and other social media platforms in the three days after the demo launched.
All this means FIA 13 is expected to fly off shelves this week. The game has just launched in the US and will go on sale in Europe on Friday.
