An update for FIFA 12 Ultimate Team and EA Sports Football Club will be released on Xbox 360 globally and on PlayStation 3 in North America on March 13, and on PlayStation 3 in Europe and the rest of the world on March 14, EA has announced.

The update promises to introduce a range of new features for both areas of the game, fix some bugs and address two important issues affecting the FIFA Ultimate Team community: protecting FUT accounts against phishers and scammers, and the end-of-game disconnects affecting some FUT users on PlayStation 3 and PC.

Additionally, the update to the game will coincide with an upgrade for the FIFA Ultimate Team Web App. This work will require that the Web App is taken offline during the deployment of the update and won’t return until the morning of March 16.

You’ll find complete patch notes on EA.com.
