MCV reports that FIFA 10 is expected to spark a retail price war when it hits stores on Friday.

Although yet to receive official confirmation, MCV points to reports which suggest Tesco will be selling the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of FIFA 10 for £28.99. This will be a weekend offer that will last until stores close on Sunday.

The price cutting isn’t expected to stop there, with supermarket rival Asda rumoured to be offering the same versions of the game for only £25 for a 24 hour period following launch.
