EA has announced that FIFA 10 continues to set new sales records, with internal projections estimating over 4.5 million copies sold worldwide since its launch eight weeks ago in Europe.
FIFA 10 has also become the fastest-selling sports video game in the world with 1.7 million units sold at European retail in its first week, and the top-selling game overall in Europe in 2009.
The game has achieved new franchise records for online play as well, averaging three million games played daily and over 113 million total online games played on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 over the past two months.
FIFA 10 is out now on all current platforms.
