According to Square Enix president Yoichi Wada, who was speaking at a recent financial briefing, development of the international version of Final Fantasy XIII is making good progress.

He added that it is possible that the game will be released during the publisher’s current financial year, which ends April 30, 2010. Whether this would mean both North America and Europe, Wada didn’t make clear.

Final Fantasy XIII is scheduled for release in Japan on December 17, only on PS3.
