505 Games and Kung Fu Factory have announced that upcoming mixed martial arts game Supremacy MMA will include two playable female fighters. The inclusion of Felice “Lil Dog” Herrig and Michele “Diablita” Gutierrez marks the first time female fighters have been playable in an MMA game.
“Female fighters are not represented in MMA games and face a giant glass ceiling in the fighting world,” said Ricci Rukavina, CEO and Creative Director, Kung Fu Factory. “We’re proud to be a part of raising their profile and giving these tough-as-nails fighters their due in the virtual cage.”
You can see Felice and Michele in action in the newly released screens. Supremacy MMA is due for release in June on Xbox 360 and PS3.
