New screenshots for the upcoming MMOFPS FEAR: Origins Online have been made available on ThisIsGame.

The online game, originally announced last year, is based on Monolith’s FEAR 2: Project Origin from 2009 and is currently being developed by Korean studio Inplay.

The game will offer Scenario Mode – 4-player PvE missions whose game scenarios are based on the FEAR universe and function as side-stories to original game – as well as a FEAR Mode which so far is given little detail.

The studio acquired both the source code and data directly from Monolith, and will be developing the game using an updated Jupiter EX engine.

Open beta for FEAR: Origins Online will begin in Korea next year.
