The developer behind Farming Simulator has revealed it's officially launching its own eSports league, because why the hell not? Farming Simulator is actually really popular, especially in Europe, so it was bound to happen.

Giants Software confirmed that more details will be revealed in the next couple of weeks, but did reveal that it'll roll out a series of tournaments across Europe featuring a prize pool of €250,000.

10 teams will slug it out on the fields for the hope of bagging the title of 'Farming Simulator champion.' How can you possibly resist? Quite how well Farming Simulator will translate to an eSports scene is anyone's guess, but I'm personally excited to find out (no, seriously, I am).

Farming Simulator 19 was a pretty major milestone for the series, notching up one million copies in just 10 days.
