UPDATE: Far Cry: The Wild Expedition is a compilation pack featuring the original Far Cry, Far Cry 2 and Far Cry 3, Ubisoft has confirmed to VideoGamer.com.
ORIGINAL REPORT: A brand new Far Cry title, Far Cry: The Wild Expedition, will launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on February 14, Ubisoft has revealed.
The title appeared in Ubisoft’s latest release schedule sent to media this afternoon, but has yet to be officially detailed. The listing suggests the game will be a first-person shooter and a budget release, coming in at around the £20-£25 mark.
The game is also listed on a handful of European websites, but no additional details are provided.
So what could it be? A re-release of Far Cry 3? A new Far Cry 3 DLC? Or something else altogether? VideoGamer.com has contacted Ubisoft UK for more details.
