Ubisoft has lifted the wraps off the full patch notes for Far Cry 5 update 8, confirming the psychopath-slaying adventurer will be getting a Photo Mode.

The update is scheduled to go live after routine maintenance today, with the Photo Mode allowing players to get snap-happy in the game's solo campaign via the main menu.

Elsewhere, Far Cry 5's latest update fleshes out the game's Arcade mode with a bunch of new features, including assets for Lost on Mars and additional vehicles, weapons, and enemy/creature AI for Hours of Darkness.

Ubisoft's also been busy clamping down on various bugs and improving general stability and performance for the game, ironing out a bunch of issues regarding the user interface, co-op, audio, and missions.
