Ubisoft has lifted the wraps off Far Cry 5: Far Cry Arcade, a new feature coming to the highly anticipated open-world sequel that allows you to cobble together unique gameplay experiences using assets from previous games under the publisher’s belt.

These include older Far Cry titles in addition to the likes of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Unity, and Watch_Dogs, allowing you to forge new opportunities for solo, cooperative, and multiplayer sessions. Ubisoft describes it as ‘evolution of the map editor that will deliver an endless amount of free gameplay and map creation opportunities for players.’

Elsewhere, the publishing behemoth revealed that it will be hosting various live events for the game, which will reward participants with customisation items, such as unique weapon and vehicle skins.

Those of you who fork out for the Far Cry 5 Season Pass meanwhile can snap up a copy of Far Cry 3 Classic Edition, which as previously reported will be available four weeks before its standalone release on PS4 and Xbox One (PC owners have to wait a bit longer). This is in addition to four bizarre standalone adventures, including one featuring alien spiders.

Far Cry 5 is due for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on March 27. Watch the latest footage for the game here, and don’t forget that you can also pick up the prequel film on Amazon Prime right now.
