Slightly disappointing news coming out of Ubisoft, as it announces that three of its upcoming games are to suffer delays: Far Cry 5, The Crew 2 and an as-yet-unannounced third game.

As detailed on the Ubisoft blog, Far Cry 5 has been held back a month, slipping from February 27 to a new date of March 27 2018 to ‘allow the team at Ubisoft Montreal to make some additional improvements that will bring the best, most ambitious Far Cry experience in line with the team’s original vision.’

The Crew 2 comes off slightly worse, missing its intended March 16 2018 release date to a non-specific point in the future, outside of being the ‘first half of fiscal year 2018-2019’ which could be any point before the end of September 2018.

Finally Ubisoft mentions the delay of a third game that hasn’t been announced but is referred to as ‘one of the three unannounced franchise games’ which was originally planned for the fiscal year 2018-19, now releasing in fiscal year 2019-20.
