Ubisoft is going all out for the upcoming PC version of Far Cry 5, confirming it’ll support a wide range of settings from 720p all the way to a mouth-watering 4K. In addition, the French publishing giant revealed the game will offer a range of much-requested features, including the ability to lock the frame rate and resolution scaling.

Far Cry 5 will also allow PC users to improve game performance thanks to multi-GPU functionality, and should accommodate most users due to the multiple aspect ratios, graphics, and resolution options available.

Those of you looking to run the bare bones, 720p version of the upcoming open-world sequel must be packing at the very least an Intel Core i5-2400 @ GHz, 8GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 or AMD R9 270.

On the other hand, if you’re eager to run Far Cry 5 in either 1080p or 4K at 30fps, you’ll need a rig capable of supporting a high Video Preset, 8 to 16GB of RAM, Intel Core i7-4770 / Intel Core i7-6700, and a meaty graphics card such as the NVIDIA GeForce 970 or 1070.

Naturally, the highest setting possible, which sees you running the game at a buttery-smooth 60fps in 4K, requires some demanding specs on your part. Be sure to have a butcher’s at the full PC requirements to see exactly what technical muscle you’ll need to be packing.

Far Cry 5 will be unleashing its unique brand of mayhem on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on March 27. Watch the latest trailer to see how the highly anticipated sequel is coming along.
