Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3 claimed the final video game No.1 of 2012, displacing Christmas No.1 Black Ops 2 from the top of the chart.
Black Ops actually dropped to No.3, with EA’s FIFA 13 – also benefiting from some retailer price reductions – able to jump up to No.2. The football title achieved its highest weekly sales outside of its opening three weeks in the chart.
Hitman: Absolution slides to No.4, NFS Most Wanted claimed fifth spot, Just Dance 4 is at No.6, Halo 4 takes seventh and Assassin’s Creed 3 slips one place to No.8.
LEGO The Lords of the Rings holds at No.9 and Forza Horizon storms up the chart from No.21 to No.10.
