Far Cry 2 was one of the best games released in 2008 and has gone on to sell several million units worldwide, but Ubisoft hasn’t, as yet, announced Far Cry 3.
Speaking to OPM, Ubisoft scriptwriter Kevin Shortt has let slip that work on a third game is currently under way.
Asked if he was working on a third Far Cry game, Shortt said: “No I’m not, but I know the team are and what I’ve seen looks pretty exciting.”
It’s not an official press release, but that sounds like a pretty solid confirmation that Ubisoft is hard at work on Far Cry 3.
