Bethesda has announced that it is rolling out a new mode for Fallout 76 that features no restrictions on PvP.

The studio confirmed the news during a blog post detailing what to expect from the post-apocalyptic MMORPG in 2019. There's no date for the mode yet, although Bethesda said it hopes to release it during the first quarter of next year.

Elsewhere, Bethesda revealed that players can expect a new patch in mid-January that fixes a number of issues with Fallout 76. These include ironing out problems with the Lever-Action Rifle, reload animation, perk cards, and more.

'We understand that sometimes the patch notes themselves aren’t enough, and you want to know why we’re making certain balance changes or adjustment. Beginning in 2019, patch notes will include some brief thoughts from our developers that hopefully gives the community more insight into the changes we’re making and why,' wrote the company.

Fallout 76 launched on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in November. Hopefully future patches will help improve the experience, as Josh thought the game was in quite a state at launch.
