UPDATE: Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 4 runs at 1080p/30 FPS on PS4 and Xbox One, but has an unrestricted resolution and framerate on PC.

Original story follows
Fallout 4 will run at 1080p/30 frames per second on PS4 and Xbox One, director Todd Howard has confirmed.
In an interview with Digitial Spy, Howard confirmed the game will be “1080p on everything,” all at 30 frames per second.
We don’t imagine the PC version will be capped in any way, and we’re sure some gamers will run the game at a lower resolution too.
Regarding mod support on PS4, Howard says it should happen providing Sony says yes.
“We will be. Well, we’re going to make every effort to. If Sony says no, we won’t, but I don’t think they will.
“But, you know, it will come out on PC first. So early 2016, the creation mod for the PC, and then we’re going to make that work on the Xbox One, and then we’re going to do the PS4 version.”
Early buyers of Fallout 4 on Xbox One will also receive Fallout 3 for free, thanks to Xbox One’s new backwards compatibility.
Fallout 4 launches November 10 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Pre-order now.
