Speaking to Gamasutra, Factor 5 president Julian Eggebrecht said, “I’m really looking forward to 2007, because we’re going to finish Lair, which is my biggest concern right now, but also, I’m really looking forward to working on a couple of smaller projects, with the so-called EDI [e-Distribution Initiative] from Sony.

Eggebrecht added that he believes the service, which is currently looking very similar to Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade, has “huge potential.” It’s not surprising given the success of Xbox Live Arcade.

At the moment only a handful of titles are available, including Blast Factor and Cash Guns Chaos. These will be joined by flOw in December, plus the semi-high profile release of Calling All Cars from God of War creator David Jaffe.
