Tekken Card Tournament, a free-to-play card game for iOS, Android and the web, has notched up over a million downloads in just four days, Namco Bandai has announced.

In celebration of the milestone, Namco Bandai is offering a 30 per cent discount on all in-game purchases of card booster packs for a 48 hour period starting this afternoon.

“We’re overwhelmed by the incredible reaction of the fans following the launch of Tekken Card Tournament,” said Olivier Comte, senior vice president of Namco Bandai Games Europe. “One million downloads in four days is beyond our expectations, and this promotion is a small thank you to all the fans battling worldwide as we continue working to make the experience even better.”

In Tekken Card Tournament players customize their deck, create new cards, train, then chain Focus, Strike and Block moves to take down opponents. Physical booster packs of Game Cards offering additional in-game character and bonuses, plus Augmented Reality characters, are set to arrive in stores soon.
