Codemasters has released the first proper gameplay trailer for the upcoming latest entry in its popular Formula 1 series, showing off some of the classic F1 cars you'll get to take around the track when the game launches next month.

In an accompanying post on the Codemasters blog, the studio also revealed a list of the classic cars you'll get to take around the track in both including the 1998 McLaren MP4-13 and the 1978 Lotus 79. The trailer itself also includes music from official F1 composer Brian Tyler for added authenticity.

The developer further notes that F1 2019 will also include the 2018 FIA Formula 2 Championship series, with the F2 content being added as a free update 'during the season'. As per the original announcement, F1 2019 will be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on June 28; although you'll be able to play three days earlier if you plump for the Legends Edition.
