F1 2019 launches later this week, and developer Codemasters has released a launch trailer to celebrate detailing this iteration's new features.

In fact, as per the release, this entry has had the most development time of any F1 game by Codemasters, and contains the 2018 FIA Formula 2 Championship and the F2 Feeder Series in Career Mode – with the 2019 Formula 2 season added as a free digital download later this year as previously revealed.

Driver transfers are also new this year, with rivalries or partnerships able to be created or broken depending on your performance, as well as the ability to create your own customised regulation 2019 car and take them online to race against friends. On that note, a whole new F1 Esports tab provides a hub for competitive virtual Formula 1 racing.

F1 2019 is out on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 officially from June 28, although if you've got the Legends Edition you can play from today.
