Eric Fong, associate producer on Folklore, has announced details of two new downloadable content packs for the surprisingly solid PlayStation 3 hack ‘n slash title Folklore.

Add-on Pack 1: The Kidnapped Folk is set during the timeframe of the original story and gives players the opportunity to return to Doolin. Missions include the recapture of a kidnapped Folk and an attempt to regain the trust of Brumbear’s soldiers. Players will also get a new costume for Ellen and a new Folk called Maximillian, complete with cannonball attack.

Add-on Pack 2: Bottom of the Sea features missions which will require players to search the seabed for a mysterious item requested by Damona, get to the bottom of an accident that takes place in the Endless Corridor and complete the Wandering Thoughts mission started in “The Kidnapped Folk” DLC. The pack also includes a new costume for Keats and a new Folk called Phutcampus.

The new content will be available soon priced $3.99 apiece or $5.99 for the pair. We’re waiting to hear back from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe about pricing and a release date.
