The release date for Capcom’s online, team-based action title, Exoprimal, has now been revealed through their March 2023 showcase. Several details regarding the shoot ’em up entry were also announced during the course of the event, such as the availability of cross-platform matchmaking.

When is the release date for Exoprimal?
Exoprimal will be released on July 14, 2023 on all platforms including the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. This was official confirmed by the developers themselves during the March 2023 Capcom Showcase.

It will also apparently be a day one launch on Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft console fans will surely welcome this news in particular since early releases on the subscription service have often been Xbox exclusives.
A particular detail that wasn’t well-received, however, was the news of the Battle Pass within the game. Many players have seemingly become skeptical due to the developer’s heavy marketing of the ever-present microtransaction model within.
Capcom also mentioned during their presentation that there will be an Open Beta test for Exoprimal before its full launch. It will be taking place from March 17-19 and those that participate will be given a special Aibius Medal charm. Unfortunately, registration details for the early access period is yet to be announced, but we will continue to update this page with the latest information as soon as we’ve received it.
