But with the Capcom title yet to be fully launched, judgments and generalizations are often best saved until after the game’s release. Luckily, players won’t have to wait too long as they’ll be able to experience it soon through the Exoprimal Open Beta phase.
Here’s all that you need to know about its Early Access period including when it starts and how you can join it.
When is the Exoprimal Open Beta start date?
The Exoprimal Open Beta period will last for a total of three days, starting on March 17 and ending on March 20. Players that are looking to join in on the dinosaur-slaying fun will be able to do so through almost all platforms. This includes the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Unfortunately, Switch loyalists won’t be able to play it on the popular handheld console as it wasn’t included with the game’s list of compatible systems. Those on the aforementioned platforms, however, will be happy to know that cross-platform matchmaking will be available during the Open Beta, so you’ll be able to join friends and other players even if you’re using different systems.
How to get in/download the Exoprimal Open Beta
Since this is an Open Beta, the only thing you’ll need to do to get in is to link your Capcom ID with the console you plan on playing on. Here are the steps you’ll need to follow to do so:
- Head to the Capcom ID website and either log in to your account or sign up if you don’t have one yet.
- Once you’re in, head to the Account Page. You can find this section by pressing on the three line icon found at the top right side of the site and selecting the Account option.
- Now that the Account Page is open, scroll downwards until you reach the portion that says “External account links.”
- From there, you will then be able to link the platform account that you plan on playing on.
Now that your preferred account is linked, all you’ll have to do is wait until the beginning of the Open Beta. On the day of its arrival, head to your platform’s store, search up Exoprimal, and download the beta that’s available.
