Microsoft has ignited rumours about a PC version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, after confirming 'exciting news' on the collection will drop during Inside Xbox next week.

The new episode will air on Tuesday at 10.00pm UK time, and will also feature fresh info on DayZ, One Piece World Seeker, and Xbox Game Pass. In regards to Halo: The Master Chief Collection, nothing has been confirmed about a PC version, but insider Brad Sams reckons it's 'close to release.'

The latest Inside Xbox will last around an hour, so we should hopefully get some decent news out of it.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection was released back in 2014 for Xbox One, but developer 343 Industries has been keeping the bundle updated with numerous bug fixes and other quality of life improvements ever since.

One of the last major updates for the game added Xbox One X support.
