Former Gears of War and BioShock Infinite developer Rod Fergusson has announced that he is launching a new studio for 2K Games in San Francisco.
Revealing it on his Twitter feed, @GearsViking, Fergusson said: “FINALLY I get to tell people what I’m doing now… It’s official: I’m launching a new studio for 2K in the Bay Area with an exciting new project! Details soon!”
Whether or not the studio is working on new or current IP is unknown, but it seems highly likely whatever the project is will be coming to next-generation platforms.
Fergusson served as the Senior Producer on Gears of War 2 and 3 and was also the VP of Development for BioShock Infinite.
