Multiplayer title Evolve has officially been named the best game of Gamescom 2014, earning itself “the most coveted award of the European computer and video game industry”.
Turtle Rock’s shooter picked up five Gamescom Awards from this year’s show, including Best of Gamescom, Best Console Game (Microsoft Xbox), Best Action Game, Best PC Game and Best Online Multiplayer Game.
The awards follow shortly after Evolve was officially named the best game of E3.
Other Gamescom winners include PES 2015, which picked up Best Sports Game, LittleBigPlanet 3 for Best Family Game, The Evil Within, Splatoon, Super Smash Bros., Risen 3 and more.
