2K has slashed the price of Evolve’s first wave of DLC.

All Monster characters now cost £7.99, reduced from their original price of £11.99, while Hunters are now available for £3.99, down from £6.19.

Hunting Season 1, meanwhile, which includes Hunter characters Torvald, Crow, Sim and Sunny, three Monster character skins and four new Arctic Hunter skins, has been cut from £19.99 to £11.99.

The reductions coincide with the launch of Hunting Season 2, a second Season Pass offering access to four new Hunters and one new Monster.

PC players who purchased Evolve’s PC Monster Race Edition will receive Hunting Season 2 free of charge.

Evolve was heavily criticised by the community for its approach to DLC, with consumers complaining at the cost and extent of extra content available soon after the game’s launch.

Turtle Rock argued that its approach meant that all players would benefit from the content regardless of whether they chose to purchase it.
