EVO has confirmed the full lineup of titles for this year's fighting game tournament, with Tekken 7, Soulcalibur VI, and Mortal Kombat 11 leading the charge.
This year's event is notable by the fact Super Smash Bros. Melee is not part of the lineup, despite having been featured for the past six years. The GameCube brawler is a favourite among competitive fighting game fans, and has popped up in numerous tournaments since its launch way back in 2001.
However, it's not all bad news. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is part of EVO 2019 to represent Ninty's epic crossover fighting series, and given its extensive character roster, should offer up some decent rucks.
Conspicuous by its absence is Dead or Alive 6, which is coming out in March. The series hasn't been featured in over a decade, although it would have been nice to see that change this year.
EVO 2019 will take place at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, from August 2-4.
Here's the full lineup:

- Mortal Kombat 11
