A free character skin will be included with every DLC patch released for Mortal Kombat X, creative director Ed Boone has announced, meaning that all players will receive a free piece of content even if they have no intention of purchasing the DLC.
The first skin on offer is the Klassic Sub-Zero costume, which was included for free with Mortal Kombat X’s latest title update earlier this week.
Future free costumes have yet to be announced.
Mortal Kombat X launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC last week, becoming the UK’s second fastest-selling release of 2015. Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are due to follow this summer.
