EverQuest Next, the new MMO which re-imagines the EverQuest universe in a parallel Norrath, has been confirmed for release on PS4.
During a Reddit AMA, Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley said of the game on PS4: “Yes. We will absolutely be bringing EQN to the PlayStation 4.”
Meanwhile, development of PlanetSide 2 for PS4 continues to go well, though it sounds like its planned early 2014 release could be pushed back. Smedley said that “first half of this year is what we’re shooting for. It’s taking time to do this right but coming along great”.
SOE has already launched DC Universe Online for PS4.
