Epic Games announced today that its August feature update includes cloud saves for games on the Epic Games store, Humble Bundle keyless integration, and a new product page design.

Cloud save support is implemented for 18 games so far, counting Moonlighter, Alan Wake, GNOG and This War of Mine among them. All Ubisoft games have been supported by cloud saves through Uplay integration from the start. Epic Games has not rolled out cloud saves for every game on its store, because it is still ‘working with the developers of other released games to test cloud saves.’

Also, Humble keyless integration is launched in this update. If the Epic Games and Humble accounts are linked, games on the store can be bought from Humble without needing a key to type in. It’ll appear in the library with no extra hassle. In the update post, Epic Games stated that this is, ‘one step we are taking towards creating an open ecosystem for players, and we’re looking at more partnerships with highly reputable digital game sellers.’

Finally, its product pages have gotten a redesign to show extensive descriptions more clearly, improve release date visibility for upcoming games, and allow for more space for game screenshots and videos. Epic Games also encourage users to get in touch with their feedback on the changes.

Epic Games’ plans for the next feature update are detailed in its news post here. It seems that the developer and distributor has been pretty busy of late; it has opened a new studio in Cologne, pledged to the ESA’s loot box transparency policy, and been hit with a class action lawsuit on Fortnite account hacks. And I- oop.
