Update: The leaked Epic Games store January 1st, 2025 free game is Kingdom Come Deliverance. This has been revealed on X by reliable leaker, Billbil_kun.
This is the penultimate giveaway from Epic as part of their Christmas offerings. It has been a fantastic set of giveaways from Epic as they have included the likes of Ghostrunner 2, Sifu, Control, Dredge, and many more excellent experiences.
Kingdom Come Deliverance is a great game, and the giveaway is perfect timing as its sequel is set to come out in early February. If you haven’t played KCD before, then now is the perfect time as it will get you ready for the return of Henry in one month’s time.
Original story:
Christmas is less than a week away, and the Epic Games store has its annual holiday sale available to enjoy until early new year. While the discounts and price slashes are great, the best part is that free games are being given away on a daily basis. Here you will find Epic Games store December 2024 free games leaks along with an updated list of giveaways this Christmas.
In addition to this promotion, don’t forget that the Steam Winter Sale 2024 has begun, too. It has been an excellent year of video game releases, and we’ve shared our very own game awards celebrating the best experiences released in the past 12-months. As for next year, 2025 is poised to be another stellar year of launches as planned releases currently include GTA 6 as well as Monster Hunter Wilds.
We’re looking so forward to next year, but, before then, PC players will want to claim all of the Epic Games store December 2024 free games. A leak has already surfaced, and there is a long list of giveaways ready to be delivered.
Epic Games store December 31st 2024 free games leak
The leaked Epic Games store December 31st, 2024 free game is Sifu. This again comes courtesy of Billbil_kun on X an hour before the giveaway’s release.
Remember that you only have 24-hours to claim the freebie once it becomes available. This is arguably one of the best and most notable giveaways from Epic so far alongside Ghostrunner 2 and Control.
Sifu is a unique and challenging martial arts experience where, as a male or female lead, you pretty much star in your own kung-fu revenge movie where your character gets older every time they die. Its unique death mechanic comes with pros and cons as the older you get the closer you are to complete failure, but the more you die the more opportunities you get to learn special skills.
It’s an amazing experience with a cool art style, and it has wonderful direction with moments reminiscent of famous movie scenes such as the iconic hallway fight in Oldboy. The combat is great, the boss fights are memorable, and it’s definitely worth playing.
Billbil_kun hasn’t leaked any other game yet, but they have provided a clue as to the identity of the final mystery giveaway set for January 2nd. According to Billbil, it’s a game older than the ninth mystery game, Ghostrunner 2, and the reuse of Dark and Darker wrap “can be considered as another hint too”.
