Epic Games has revealed eight more PC games launching exclusively on its store, in a trailer showcasing the handful of indie titles as seen at PAX West.

Airborne Kingdom is a city management and exploration game, in which you must build your domain in the sky, nomadically travelling across a desert world for resources and technologies. It sort of looks like the title sequence of Game of Thrones, but pastelised. The Alto Collection, comprising Alto’s Adventure and Alto’s Odyssey, makes its PC debut on the Epic Games store as well.

In Eternal Cylinder, players control a gaggle of Trebhums on an alien planet. These odd little creatures explore a procedurally generated ecosystem with real time dynamic destruction and mutation systems, and must avoid the Cylinder. It’s a huge… well, cylinder that indiscriminately flattens everything in its path. Inspired by the M.C. Escher work ‘Relativity’, Manifold Garden is a physics puzzler, and No Straight Roads is an action adventure about rock music and its power to create.

Ooblets is an adorably weird mix of Harvest Moon, Pokemon, and Animal Crossing as a cute farming simulator and monster hunting game. Superliminal is a mind-bending puzzle title which asks players to mess with their perspective to escape the room. And, Wattam is a bright and colourful cartoony game with talking toy boats, chattering beach balls, and gossiping poops.

A few of these games are also launching for consoles, so all it means is that the PC launch is exclusive to Epic Games’ distribution platform. Epic exclusivity agreements offer financial boons to indie developers, but not all have followed this route, citing consumer choice and reaching the widest audience possible.
