Epic Games is developing an unannounced “triple-A shooter”, founder Tim Sweeney has revealed – possibly dropping a hint towards a next-gen Gears of War.
Sweeney delivered the news during a talk at Develop earlier today (reported by Eurogamer), confirming that the new game was in development alongside ‘Minecraft meets Left 4 Dead’ title Fortnite and other “really tiny projects”.
The news follows last week’s report that Epic is currently developing a “competitive online action game… that doesn’t fit easily into some existing genre”.
