Speaking to PWGM at last week’s Edinburgh Interactive Festival, Eidos Life President Ian Livingstone confirmed that development of Hitman 5 remains with the series creator IO Interactive and not UK-based Rocksteady Studios, as motion capture work had suggested last week.

“This is the first I’ve heard about it,” said Livingstone. “Hitman always has been and always will be IO Interactive’s baby, which it still continues to be so. Rocksteady are not involved with the development of Hitman 5.”

IO Interactive is also said to be working on a sequel to the flawed Kane & Lynch, while its new IP Mini Ninjas will hit stores next month.
