Eidos follows in the footsteps of publishers including Activision, Majesco and 2K Games, each having embraced Steam.

Eidos isn’t hanging around either, with a flurry of its titles hitting Steam at the same time as the announcement was made. Already available are Battlestations: Midway, Hitman: Blood Money, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Codename 47, Just Cause, Commandos: Strike Force, Commandos: Men of Courage, Commandos: Destination Berlin and Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines.

As an introductory offer all the games have a 10% price reduction until March 26. Later this year Eidos plans to release Championship Manager 2007 and several Tomb Raider titles, including the upcoming Tomb Raider: Anniversary.
