Following its acquisition of Rockpool, Eidos Interactive has chosen to launch SoGoPlay as a standalone brand which will focus entirely on casual gaming, embracing both boxed retail and digital download titles.
“… it’s not just PC games that we’re focusing on, it’s also console and mobile games that have a broad appeal. We’re aiming to establish SoGoPlay as THE flagship casual games brand,” said said Lou Fawcett, Head of Casual Games, Eidos.
Titles currently in development for release under the SoGoPlay label include SPY-Q and Nervous Brickdown for Nintnedo DS, and Merry-Go-Round Dreams for PC. A number of unannounced titles for PS2 and Wii are planned for release this autumn.
