UPDATE: Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has been confirmed as the UK FIFA 15 cover star joining Lionel Messi on the UK box.
“I have played FIFA all of my life and it’s a huge honour to be asked to be on the cover of FIFA 15,” said Hazard. “Now I have played the game I can say it’s the most realistic football game I have seen.”
As well appearing on the UK box, Hazard will also feature on the cover of the French, Belgium and Dutch versions of FIFA 15.
ORIGINAL REPORT: The UK cover star for FIFA 15 will be revealed at 4pm today, EA has announced.
The mystery athlete will join Barcelona striker Lionel Messi on the cover of the UK box when it launches across the country on September 26.
Previous UK cover stars have included Gareth Bale, Joe Hart and Wayne Rooney.
EA has already announced cover stars for multiple other territories, including Clint Dempsey in the US, Shaqiri in Switzerland and David Alaba in Austria.
Meanwhile, it was revealed last week that World Cup winner Mario Gotze is set to star on the cover of PES 2015.
