The Wii U version of Earthbound will be reduced by 40 per cent from this Thursday, July 17, to mark the one year anniversary of the game’s Virtual Console release, Nintendo has announced.
The promotion will see the cult classic reduced to £4.19 for one week only, returning to its usual £6.99 once the deal ends on July 24.
EarthBound first released on SNES in 1994, but failed to make it over to Europe until its launch on Virtual Console last year.
Other titles on sale from Thursday include Little Inferno, which is being reduced to £4.59, and 3DS game Steel Diver Sub Wars: Premium Version, which is being cut to £6.29.
