2K is tempting gamers into picking up the Borderlands Game of the Year edition by offering early access to a Duke Nukem Forever demo with the title.
Buy the repackaged Borderlands complete with all DLC and you’ll receive a key to the “Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club”.
Members of this club will receive “exclusive items, including early access to the [Duke Nukem Forever] playable demo before it is publicly released”.
Borderlands GOTY is set for release next week in North America, while UK retailers suggest the bumper set will arrive here on November 26. We’ve not heard if we’ll also get membership to the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club.
The demo doesn’t have a firm release date, with 2K stating it will arrive “prior to the retail launch of the game” in 2011.
