EA Sports UFC became publisher EA’s third All-Formats No.1 of the year, preventing Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs from claiming its fourth week at the top, reports Chart-Track.

61 per cent of UFC sales were on PS4.

FIFA 14 and Titanfall are EA’s previous chart toppers. Titanfall sales are up 10 per cent and up three places to No.3, followed by Bethesda’s Wolfenstein and EA’s FIFA 14 and World Cup Brazil.

Mario Kart 8 drops three places to No.7, whilst MotoGP is a new entry at No.14.

UFC is off to a good start, but it’s a game that will live or die by word of mouth, so will be interesting to see how long it can hang around in the Top 10.

It’s a busy week for new releases so expect a bit of a chart reshuffle on Monday. GRID Autosport, Sniper Elite 3 and Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark are all in stores on Friday and we expect the Sniper sequel has the best chance of taking the top spot.
