EA CEO John Riccitiello has told Kotaku that the recently released open-world action title The Saboteur will see a sequel should the game pick up a strong consumer following.

“We’re hoping they’re going to want Saboteur. I think they will,” said Riccitiello. “Then we’ll probably sequel that too.”

We hope gamers respond to the game too, feeling it worthy of a solid 8/10.

Riccitiello also explained further some of the reasons developer Pandemic had to be closed.

“For good or for bad, we are taking down headcount in California because it is really expensive,” he said.

He added: “The shift toward fewer titles and the acceleration towards digital is moving faster [than expected].”
