Speaking at GDC yesterday, Travis Boatman, VP of worldwide mobile studios at EA Mobile, announced that EA will continue to support the iPhone platform with confirmation that several of the publisher’s major franchises are on the way.
iPhone/iPod Touch gamers can look forward to SSX, Red Alert, FIFA 10, Madden 10, NBA Live, American Idol, The Sims, Need for Speed, Spore and more. Boatman also demoed a playable version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour for the iPhone, with the touch screen used to perform the golf swing.
All of the announced games are scheduled for release this year.
